It finally happened! Andi started crawling this weekend! I was playing in her bedroom floor with her on Friday and left the room for just a second. When I came back, she had made her way more than 1/2 way across her room. I knew she moved too quickly to be scooting so I figured she had crawled. Cody and I tried to get her to do it on Saturday and she did just a bit, but we still weren't completely convinced. Then we saw her crawl yesterday at Cody's office while we were having lunch together. It was so neat. I figured out this morning that she likes Jake's ball a lot so that's the perfect teaser to get her to crawl! I don't let her get to it of course! Here are some pictures. I'm hoping to post a video of her crawling soon too!
AND...Yesterday she was standing holding onto the ottoman like she does a lot these days, and she let go and tried to take a couple of steps! I couldn't believe my eyes! It was so strange to see her do that. She only made it a step or possibly two and then she crashed. It was neat! She'll be walking before we know it! She's always loved being on her feet so I won't be surprised if she starts walking early!
She tried her 1st pears today. She seemed to like them ok. It usually takes her a couple of times to warm up to new foods. The fruits are really sweet, and I don't know if she's used to such a sweet taste yet.
