Merry Christmas!

We just wanted to wish you and your families "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!" in case we don't talk to you between now and then. We hope that God blesses your families during this wonderful time! We are so lucky to have Andi with us this year and to have our families and friends to share her first Christmas with. We look forward to what may come in the new year with excitement and can't wait to share it with you all. We love you all!

Us in front of the big Christmas tree at Silver Dollar City. Andi conked out after the exciting tree lighting show!

Some pictures from Andi's first Christmas card photo shoot. The first one was
our Christmas card picture. It was my favorite!

The second one was funny because she looks a lot like Cody in that one! She was saying, "Mom, seriously! Are we done yet???"

And the last one was just so sweet. She finally had enough and fell into such a peaceful sleep right there beneath the tree!

3 Month Photographs

We had Andi's 3 month photographs taken by a photographer here in Benton. The link to his site is on the right side of this page. Click on the link to navigate to the photographer's page and view Andi's photos. Once on the site, click on Enter Site. Then click on Clients at the bottom of the page. On the Client page, enter our last name "oldham" in all lowercase letters and click Submit. It should take you to our page. You can view the slideshow of all of her photos or click on each individual photo at the bottom of the page. I believe you can order photos from the site too. All photographs are copyrighted and belong to E. Shelnut Photography. Hope you enjoy the photos!

4 Months Old!

Well, Andi turned 4 months old today! I really can't believe 4 months have passed already! She's so much fun! She laughs and smiles a lot, is rolling over anytime she's on her belly, talks to us a lot, watches Jake and Gracie anytime they are around, and is growing so quickly! We go to the doctor next week for her 4 month checkup, and I'm anxious to see how long she is and how much she weighs now. She's sleeping around 12 hours a night, and we are very thankful for that!!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful little girl! I've posted some of her 4 month pictures that I took today. Enjoy!

Andi's First Thanksgiving

Our first Thanksgiving with Andi was a lot of fun. It made the holiday much more meaningful since we have Andi to be thankful for. Although she was unable to enjoy the fine meal Cody's mom and aunt prepared for us, she still enjoyed being with her family at the table. We bought her a cute 1st Thanksgiving outfit to wear which was adorable on her! We truly enjoyed our first Thanksgiving with her and look forward to many more 1st holidays-especially Christmas! In this picture we are with Cody's parents, brother and sister, aunt, and grandparents.

Oh, I almost forgot! Andi learned to roll over on Thanksgiving as well! So that made the day very special too!

Go Tigers!

We attended the 7A High School Championship Football Game yesterday. The Bentonville Tigers beat the Southside Rebels 32 to 20 to win the State Championship! It was such a fun game. It was a short drive for us since the game was played at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. We got to see some old friends from Bentonville and got to see the Tigers play for the first time this season. Guess it was a good game to see though! It was also Andi's first, but definitely not her last, football game! She enjoyed the game and even slept a little in between the cheers and excitement!

Our Move and Arrival of Andi

Some of you may not know that we moved to Benton, AR on August 1st when I was 9 months pregnant. Cody was offered a promotion and asked if he'd be interested in transferring to his company's Little Rock office. We talked it over and decided it would be a good move for us. This was in August of 2007. So a year later after Cody had traveled back and forth each week and I finished my last year of teaching in Bentonville, we finally moved to the Little Rock area and just in time too! Our daughter Andi wasn't due until August 21st, but I believe she made an early appearance on August 9th due to the stress of moving. We went to the hospital on Friday, August 8th and were hoping for an 8/8/08 baby, but she was stubborn and didn't show up until the next day 8/9/08. She is almost 4 months old now and such a wonderful baby! We are so blessed! Even though Benton and the Little Rock area are different than the Bentonville area, we are settled in and very happy here. We are currently renting the house in the picture while waiting for our house in Bella Vista to sell. If you know anyone looking for a beautiful home, send them our way!

And so it begins...

So today I decided to join the blogging world after reading a blog from yet another of my friends who is doing this. I thought I should try it now that we have Andi and have more in our lives to share with everyone. I'm looking forward to connecting with old and new friends and letting everyone know the exciting and not so exciting things that are happening in our lives.
