December & Christmas time

I can't believe we're 3 days from Christmas! This month has flown by! We've really enjoyed Andi being more involved in Christmas this year as compared to last year when she was only 4 months old. Our trip to see Santa was definitely different this year! Last year, she slept peacefully in his arms as she got her photo taken. This year, not so much!

Still a cute picture and fun memory though!

We're so thankful for the blessing that Andi is to us. We laugh each day with her and can't believe the little bits of us that we see in her each day.

She has some beautiful Christmas dresses that I've so loved dressing her in this season. I'm always sad to put away her clothes when she has outgrown them or another holiday season has passed. It just means that time continues to pass quickly. This is one of my favorite Christmas dresses from this year!

Andi and I have really been enjoying our time at home with each other lately since we've had so much to do! Today, as I was baking cookies, I walked into the living room to find her peeking under the Christmas tree! She had gotten several of the gifts out and was trying to open them. The one in this picture is actually her gift! Stinker! I explained why she can't have them yet, and we put them back under the tree for now. It's amazing how early they learn about presents!

Andi and I took some time today to make some Christmas cookies. She "helped" me and we enjoyed our time together. She enjoyed tasting the cookies once they were finished too!

This is the Benton courthouse and downtown square. They have a beautiful lights display. We enjoyed walking downtown and seeing the lights together a few weeks ago after the Christmas parade.

This was our Christmas card picture this year. Not exactly what I had hoped for since it wasn't in front of the Christmas tree, but it was the best we could do with our very active 16 month old! It is still a precious picture of our little angel though!

Merry Christmas everyone! We hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your families!
