6 Month Check-up

Andi had her 6 month check-up this afternoon. The pediatrician said she was "just perfect!" She was glad that the only visits we've made since Andi was born were for her well baby check-ups. We've been blessed with a healthy baby! Andi is doing well! She is now 25 3/4 inches long and weighs 14 lbs. 15 oz. She's grown 1/2 an inch and gained 11 oz. since her 4 month check up. According to the pediatrician, her growth was good, but we didn't see the kind of growth we had seen between her other check-ups. She suggested that we start solid foods to keep her growing like she needs to. We had planned to do so after this appt. anyway. I'm anxious to see how she will like different foods! Not really ready for the messy feedings, but I guess it's part of it! I'm sure we'll be posting some funny pictures of her eating in the near future! No post is complete without a picture so here she is playing in the floor from earlier today.
